Michael Wood, Chief Information Technology Officer
Mike Wood, who manages all technology development at OrderSmart, has more than 21 years experience in software engineering and practical skills acquired through implementing a broad variety of cutting-edge software projects. Before co-founding the company, Mike provided Java-based visualization, technology trials, and data distribution programming services to Incyte Pharmaceuticals, Syntex Corporation, and British Telecom.
Alejandro Pena, Director of Operations
Alex brings more than 15 years of food service experience in both the food manufacturing and restaurant businesses to his role of managing both the Restaurant and Vendor Customer Relations teams. Beginning his career with La Econdida Restaurant in Mexico (now our pilot test site for further expansion) he then moved on to San Francisco to join the California Culinary Academy and became become the Chef de Cuisine at MECCA restaurant in San Francisco, and some other important roles in fine dinning and catering firms in La Jolla, Ca. have being beneficial to his career development .
